Essex’s fitness queen Lucy Mecklenburgh has collaborated with Ellesse to create its first sustainable active-wear collection. Aptly named Recycled, the capsule range places the environment and sustainable products at the forefront of its message. Made from recycled polyethylene, one of the most common consumer plastics, this collection aims to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, one drinks bottle at a time… converting them instead into a fashion-forward collection of sportswear which we cannot wait to get our hands on!

Talking on her instagram account, Lucy describes the Allenarsi bra top (above) as “comfy with extra thick straps for ultimate support”.

The range includes sports bras, running vests, shorts, leggings and jackets in a chic black, grey, green and lemon yellow colour palette to further emphasise the eco ethos. There’s even a swimsuit complete with traditional Ellesse branding, which we can’t wait to make a splash in.

Each piece is curated by Lucy who is focused on selecting key silhouettes with great fits and luxurious fabrics, but always has practicality at the head of each design. Every item is made using lightweight materials that are strong and inherently water resistant to provide comfort as well as a fashionable flare to every workout.
